STL Mini Club joins STL Sports Car Council
The STL Mini Club is now part of the St. Louis Sports Car Council. This new group provides a one-stop resource that allows clubs to see what each other organization is doing. This will help the scheduling of events and let you know what is going. I’ll let you know when the web site is up and going. Also on the Council: St. Louis Triumph Owners Association, St. Louis Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society, and the Little British Car Club. We’ll keep you posted.

Come and join us for our annual fundraiser for Backstoppers! It’s a lot of fun we get the wonderful opportunity to do some pretty great things! First and for most we raise money for Backstoppers which helps our great men and women in the police, fire fighting, and EMS. We get to motor around together in the beautiful countryside of Missouri, drink great wine in a beautiful winery. Finally we get to see old friends and make some new ones by spend the day with great Mini enthusiasts from around the Midwest! Hope to see all of you there it is a great chance to really see what your Mini can do when it is unleashed in the wild!!!! Here is some useful information below.

2. Complete the application
You will get a “welcome” letter from me (Jody Smith) that confirms I received your application. You can pay the first year dues of $30.00 via the PayPal link on the Membership page or send a check to the club’s treasurer whose address will be provided in the welcome letter.
Once the first year dues are received, watch your mailbox! A package will arrive with T-shirt(s), stickers, badge(s), lanyards, business cards and your membership card. Best of all, you qualify for wonderful discounts including the 20% discount from Mini of St. Louis.

The ninth annual St. Louis Mini Club Run to The Louis P. Balducci Winery will be held on Saturday, August 27th. We have laid out a fun route, one we are sure will appease your need for twisties. That is what the MINI was designed for and one of the reasons you bought it. And yes ladies, it is cute too!
At the winery, besides the great wine (they also have beer), the food is outstanding. Of course we will have a raffle of MINI Related Items, Gift Certificates, and other items to numerous to mention. As always all proceeds from the raffle will go to BACKSTOPPERS. This is the club’s major fund raiser and we can’t think of a better cause than to help out the families of Police, Fire Fighters, and EMTs that have given their lives in the line of duty. Last year we raised $1800.00 dollars, with your help, we can boost this amount.
