Nashville Road Trip
The Saint Louis Mini Club is happy to announce a ROAD TRIP to Nashville Tennessee to visit the LANE MOTOR MUSEUM TO BE HELD ON THE WEEKEND OF APRIL 9TH AND 10TH 2011
We will meet at the McDonalds located at Exit 27 (New Baden, Illinois) off of Interstate 64 at 7:00 am and leave for Nashville at 7:30 sharp. We will caravan down to Nashville and stop for lunch before we go to the museum.
The Lane Motor Museum is a collection of unique cars from A to Z. Many cars you have never seen or heard of and are only located in this collection. For more information go to: www.lanemotormuseum.org
We have a block of rooms at the Drury Inn & Suites, 555 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN. We have arranged for a special group rate of $104.95 for Saturday night. (plus Tax). The hotel offers a free happy hour with drinks and snacks from 5:30 – 7:00 and a free Hot Quickstart Breakfast in the morning.

For the return to Saint Louis on Sunday, there are several options to see and do. “Land Between The Lakes”, Paducah Kentucky Arts District & Quilt Museum, Metropolis IL (home of Superman), the Southern Illinois Wine area near Carbondale IL, and Rend Lake. It is all up to your imagination and the time you have for your return trip.

New Date For February Meeting
We noticed that the original date for the February meeting fell on Valentine’s Day, so we have moved it to the following Wednesday 2-16 starting at 6:30 pm at Mini of St. Louis. See you there.
Meeting Posponed
With the weather forecast for tomorrow (1-10-2011) calling for 2 to 4 inches of snow beginning at noon, we have decided to postpone tomorrow nights’ Saint Louis Mini Club Meeting to Monday night 1-17-2011, at the dealership @ 6:30.
We will also push back our first happy hour of 2011 to Tuesday 1-25 at Trailhead Micro Brewery in St. Charles starting at 6:30 pm. (this won’t have both events held back to back)

Countryman to be at Dec. 6th Club Meeting
Just received an e-mail from Rick Drezek, the service manager for Mini of St. Louis that he has arranged to have a Countryman at the club meeting Monday night. So if you can’t get by the dealership on Saturday to see it, we will be able to eye it on Monday evening.
Don’t forget that there will be a drawing for a complimentary oil change for each driver that brings a new unwrapped toy for the TOYS FOR TODS DRIVE.
